SPS Identification

I bought this coral a good while ago and it wasnt doing well in store whatsoever. Or rather i got it in a buy two get two deal. And its was a a fraction of the size it is now, which wasnt very large at all, quarter for scale. And it was the only one of its kind in there and there just wasnt anything similar and well enough then to indentify it at the time.
Im not even entirely sure if its not considered a LPS even
Now that it has made a remarkable recovery and is beginning to thrive, id like to know what it is if possible.

I think you are right, and highly aggressive too potentially, i will have to relocate it in that case before it causes issues.

I got it as a like a 1 inch square cube with most of the exoskeleton visible and a small little fraction of healthy tissue, it has since recolonized back over its old skeleton rather rapidly.

Indeed, its coverage has increased by tenfold what it was when i acquired it some two or three months ago. I believed it may had been some sort of encrusting sps that may or may not have been native to the exoskeleton it resided on, didnt have any of its tentacles out at the time so it was kind of similar to the picture with the quarter. So i took the chance on it.
I have a spot im considering where, if it is also an encruster as well as a builder, it would have to get through a line of euphyllia torches and hammers to harm anything else. Still on its own little rock in case it has to move in the future.

yeah I would definetly keep it on an island, because it can definetly kill torches with that sting, also off topic but amazing yuma you got there!

Thank you, yuma is humungous, it even envolops over its little bud that walked of its foot some time ago. But i suppose when the blue lights come on and the parent shrinks, the bud gets enough light its still content to stay where it is. Unfortunate since the bud has more green that parent had, had before it got so large.
