Such a stunning tank... thanks, do you have additional gas exchange at all to replace that lost by not skimming?

I was lucky this night and observed spawning one of my corals.
Yes you are right, its time. In near future I try to take betterHey @Jacek56! I feel like we need a new FTS update! I love seeing this reef!
Hi Jack. I love what you have done with the calcium reactor. It is DIY dastaco concept reactor. Each chamber can accommodate 3 1/2 ARM media container.

Hi Jack. I love what you have done with the calcium reactor.
I understand the set up and how it works, but how do you control it?
Do you adjust the dosing pump manually?
Yes I do.
Is the pH probe connected to a controller, or do you read the values and adjust the rest also manually?
The pH probe is not connected to a controller. I installed probe just to know what PH is inside chamber. The float sensor inside CO2 mixing chamber ( see picture above, first chamber on the left) controls CO2 valve.
I see that your return pump is taking air from the bottom of the first reactor and into the bottom of the CO2 chamber. How do you get water flow between the CO2 chamber and the reactor?
This is false picture impression. All chambers are full of water, only upper part of CO2 chamber is filled with CO2 gas, bottom part got water and pump is circulating water between CO2 chamber and reactor chamber. All chambers are connected . I take better picture to show you this.
Gorgeous reef!!
It would be great to see some more pictures of the reactor.
I also see that I had a mistake in my previous questions about the reactor.
I mentioned that the return pump of the reactor was taking air from the first reactor tube. This has to be water of course.
Still, I would expect it to take from the top and not the bottom.
I hope your pictures can explain a lot.
I still dose ZS3, FW stop, COral booster, sponge power and dose ZB weekly. I have carbon dosing since day one therefore don’t have any other experience. In my opinion excess of the bacteria is removed by mechanical filtrationHi Jacek,
Read through thr entire thread.. You have an absolutely amazing tank..
Even i have been running my sps dominant tank skimmerless for past 6 months or so and have seen insane coral growth and coloration..
I noticed you are also using zeovit products and so do I. However once i went skimmerless i removed Zeostart3 from my dosing routine as I thought without a skimmer carbon dosing would be ineffective.. Do you still continue to dose ZS3 and do you think it has any positive effect on the system.?
Unfortunately I was called to work to for 6-7 weeks and managed took only two pictures. I did small upgrade and installed two cut off valves for return pump to help me with periodic pump cleaning and rotor replacement.
Please post more questions regarding Ca reactor and I try to answer (with pictures) after my return.
