Sps/mixed reefs that run on water changes. No dosing.

AnyOne have success with reef tanks while only doing a weekly water change?
Jacob nano's tank is amazing and he only does one 4 gallon change a week.

I'm very interested to see if this works for other people or is Jacobs tank just special.

I think quite a few people have amazing tanks without any type of dosing besides cal/alk/mg. Are you meaning not even dosing the big 3?
