Why all my SPS are just encrusted and grow thicker but not branching? It’s a mature tank with 2x MP40 up at 55% ,6 bulbs T5 and 2 Kessil 360 set at 55/75.

Just be patient. When the coral is ready it will grow up.

Anecdotal evidence suggests either high flow/high light. Or both. Its a good thing in the long run.

I had a few do this for years and then out of nowhere turn into a branching jungle of colorful sticks. I have a pink lemonade coral that acts like an encrusting montipora; it's over 3 years old and just now is starting to grow up and out.
