Hello folks , I want to make full quarantine to my SPS frags , before they enter main system.

Primary goal is to kill any bugs (red bugs , black bugs , white bugs) and AEFW .

I have the this ingredients in stock :

Interceptor chewing "cockie" for dogs .

Potassium chloride

Coral RX Pro.

I also have 10 gallons small tank for this purpose, radion XR30 blue gen 5 , small heater ,small power head and small fan.

What are the procedure and protocol for the AEFW and the bugs ?
What are the dosage?

Thanks !

Out of the dips and meds you've mentioned, the only one I've used is potassium chloride, which is quite effective at taking out most 'bugs'. I personally house my new corals in a fish-less tank to allow any fish parasites that the corals may be harboring to die off without a fish host. In that time, I also inspect the corals for coral pests as well, before they go into a display tank.

I hope this helps and good luck!

Honestly, KCL is really the only thing you need. It will kill bugs... all bugs. It won't kill the eggs if they are present, but keeping them in a QT to observe is a wise choice. If anything shows up after the initial dip, just repeat the dip. You can use the interceptor as a dip or for your whole tank. Keep in mind you won't have pods, worms, etc as it will kill them off.
