Good afternoon!

I had a random no name sps mini colony that was knocked off of the rock's and on to the sand bed( I should have glued it down or put it on a frag rack). While it was in the sand bed for a few hours it was close enough to a green goni that could lightly brush the sps. I immediately moved it once I found it. Its been two days and I can see some tissue recession. Should I frag the damaged parts off? will the recession stop on its own? any advice? Thanks!

I have done both not really sure if it mattered. I have had some live and some just melt away. I would personally just clip off the damaged portions and let it heal.
Awesome. Thank you. I trimmed the parts that looked damaged this weekend. It does appear the recession had stopped.
