If u put 2 female Squareback Anthias in your aquarium will one turn into a male?

Usually the larger female of the group or pair will transition to a male.

Yes, but I don't believe pair are usually recommended.

Yes ^^^ usually recommend a small group of 5 or more of females.
Sorry I misread and thought the OP already had two in a tank.

No, you were correct.

Squarebacks get quite large too. A group would require a big tank. I'm not sure what size I would recommend for trying a group.

I bought 2 females from live aquaria I have them both in QT right now . I guess if they fight to much I will sell one to lfs . Only have 100 gallon aquarium I thought they would be alot smaller but the ones they sent me are almost 5 inches.

Along with pictillis, squares are about the largest anthias. Need lots of food and space; males are very twitchy.

I guess the answer to my question if you put 2 females in tank will one turn into a Male?

Maybe
