Stand and canopy paint

Hello , i just purchase a 215 gallon with stnd and canopy to upgrade my 90 gallons , i am needing to change colors of stand and canopy , can some one recommend procedure or paint , i am sanding the stand and canopy next couple of days but havent purchase any paint , they are both dark brown and need to chage then to a beige color , i did my 90 years ago but searching other recommendation on this task ......
