Below are pics of the stand that I built for my tank. I wish I had taken pics while I was putting it together but didn't know about R2R at the time. This is the 1st time I've ever tried to do something like this, my older brother is an Master carpenter & built me a stand for a 135gl tank I owned back in the 80's but I wanted to give it a try my self. It is built out of 2x4, 2x6 & Birch Plywood for the skin. I wish I had taken pics while I was putting it together but didn't know about R2R at the time. Once I finished putting it together I stained it & the put Polyurethane on it to seal it, Then I rolled White Flex-Seal around the inner 4" high water catchment that built as the bottom, I found out it works great for that, LOL. When I replace the smaller sump for a bigger one I had to cutout the side so I could slide it in because it would go in the front. The Wife liked the looks of it so I guess I did a pretty decent job of it. I'm still working on the wiring even though it's up & running pretty good.
