I just purchased 2 frags and 2 different starfish fell off.

Could you ID them, are they bad?

The one on top is a micro brittle and they are good cuc. The one on the bottom looks like an asterina star which can be a a nuisance. I’ve seen some eat zoas

Makes sense. It even came on my Zoa..

Asterina and micro brittle star. People much prefer the micro brittles over the asterinas.

Toss the asterina, keep the micro brittle

the brittles are really good at eating left overs. not a fan of asterina's they multiply way to fast
