star wars

The original 3 are part of who I am. I have to say I really liked Rogue One a lot.

I know this is old but I was searching for a thread to ask cramag a question about acrylic and I got side tracked by the Star Wats title, then saw what you wrote this here. I did get rid of the family guy part. Ugh. :)
I almost cried walking around the Star Wars area. All my life I have been a sci fi geek and I even considered Star Wars as soft sci fi. All my life worlds just like that and maybe Pandora were alive in my head. Pern, anyone? I just can not express how it made me feel to see it in real life. And that all the world wants to see this now? I have always been a geek and a nerd for my love of science fiction and fantasy. And now the world loves it too. Too cool for words.
Brian you have to save up and take the kids to Hollywood studios to see this. Pretend it is for them. It is amazing.

If you are a true geeky starwars fan, then you will despise the current star wars trilogy. 1-3 added a lot of new and unique characters. 4-6 the OG of starwars if you don’t like the original you aren't a fan. 7-8 are horrible. Disney is running starwars into the ground. 7 was just a better cgi of new hope, very boring. 8? Ha! Dont get me started, not a single lightsaber battle happened, yes kylo and luke play footsies with their light sabers but if you think about there was no light saber battle! How pointless.

Super huge fan here and lots of collectibles in a curio cabinet.

makes a very Merry Xmas season

I used to be a Star Wars fan... from the cradle... but then The Last Jedi happened... and then I became a Star Trek fan instead. I don't consider the Disney movies "real" Star Wars except for Rogue One (it gets a pass). I'm not going to see this last movie in theatres... don't really care to be honest, after Episode 8, what else is there to say? They are all happy, dappy living on the Millenium Falcon and Luke is dead. End of story really.

I have seen all of them opening weekend except for Solo.

Yes, all the way back to New Hope. Saw it opening weekend at the I-44 drive-in theatre in Missouri.

So, yes, I am a Star Wars Geek!
Nothing blows the mind of a 11 yr old like the Star Destroyer chasing Rebel cruiser overhead in Dolby Surround Sound!!

Rey is the weakest female lead. Yuck. So not right for the part imo.

You mean "the character" for the franchise? I could go down rabbit holes about Disney's Star Wars so I should stop here

I'm a total Dark Side girl! More Kylo Ren!!!

Oh my god. Adam driver is my fave!!! I got my son a Star Wars doll that talks... it’s kylo. He has a normal kylo that doesn’t talk. But when I play Star Wars with him, he automatically hands me the talking kylo! ;Hilarious ❤️❤️

Star Trek is more my thing too. I started watching those when I was 4-5 with my mom. I would do anything for Patrick Stewart. Almost went to comic con no where near me ONLY because he was speaking.

In general, I like the fantasy genre. Definitely more of a reader though. Brandon Sanderson, Robert Jordan, Karen Marie morning, robin hobb, terry brooks, John Norman, Robert varderman, etc etc. yeah. I read a lot.
