Hi, I have a red knob Seastar and last night it has this white stringy stuff coming off of it. His color is still good, no disintegration, nothing sloughing off. Just this white stringy stuff. I do not use copper anything because of my inverts. Water parameters are perfect. No ammonia or nitrates, ph 8.2, temp 78, salinity 1.025. Running a canister filter, double what is needed, protein skimmer, and uv filter. The only thing about this Seastar that has ever been weird is he takes forever to eat. Like 8 hours sometimes. I was feeding him every three days but I thought I was over feeding him so I cut back to once a week. I know the picture isn't good, he is up in the corner but you should be able to see the stringy stuff coming out. Not sure what is happening Help. Thank you
