Starfish leg regeneration success.

I found one of my sand sifting starfish stuck in one of my wavemakers a couple of months ago. When I removed it a couple of its legs had been chewed up.
I expected the legs would get infected and the starfish to eventually succumb to it's injuries.
However, I simply placed it back on the sand and hoped for the best. I hadn't seen it until this morning on the front glass before my lights had come on. Imagine surprise to see the obvious repair and regeneration of the damaged legs.

Its gone off the glass now the lights are on and back into the sand where it spends most of its time. I rarely see it.
