Hello, im new to starfish and I just got a cc today. I acclimated him for about am hour but im still a little worried about him. I've been doing a ton of research about them but there is one question that I just can't seem to find an answer to.

It definitly seems like a dumb one, but will a starfish still stick to the glass in a tank if its dead?

Thankyou ahead of time.

Starfish have suction tubes on their feets - if it die - they will not work and it will lose is ability to stick to the glass after a short time. The answer is no - at least I do not know any example that vacuum in the suction tubes can exist after the starfish have died.

Sincerely Lasse
