An update... Back after 3 weeks. The tank did well controlled remotely. Zero losses but have cyano growing over the substrate that needs vacuuming. SPS' grew quite a bit, but the biggest noticeable change is with the Goldflake. She came in originally smaller than the Regal, but now is bigger and growing fast.

I love it tank gets so much natural light.

More and more I don't like the blues and prefer my daytime spectrum.

But nothing beats that natural light
When the sun directly hits this tank even with my lights on full there is shadow. The sun is very strong! ;) But thank you. And yes sitting in that blue hue after awhile you can go batty so I only let it go blue for the last hour now.

Sharing how some of my sps dont actually kill when they grow into each other. It also seems that they can feel the acropora growing close to them, then begin to change its normal growth patterns and actually speeds up growth.

Tank without any lights on daytime.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. It's been about 1.5 years without big issues. I love the tank size but those angels need something bigger... which is in the planning stage and built by Joe @ Glass Cages ;). I am also starting this grow out tank for the eventual transfer; and a place for me to nurture the acro frags the tank will start producing. I hope to eventually share frags from this tank for cheap with the reefing community.

Happy New Year folks! New year new update. Tank is full. I feel the GF angel is growing too large for this tank now especially with the sps taking up so much real estate. But a new large tank is on the way at which point this tank will be taken down. Really pleased with the way this tank has turned out after almost 2 years.

Some more pics with the finished return designed into the overflow. Ill be putting more dry rock skin on the remaining return parts once it is in place.

I've got a 93g cube in the works...I may try a version of your scape. I have a center overflow, but your construction is cool!

Thank you! I look to place my tanks off walls in my living spaces and have it be the focal point like a statued work of art, so the unobstructed view to all 4 sides is critical to complete the look; and with each unobstructed side I have almost 4 separate in wall tanks ;).

Do you mind if I ask what cement/bonding agent you used?
