Starting my very first reef tank

Im getting my RED SEA MAX E 260 delivered on Wednesday to my house. Im also having water, sand and rock delivered from the local store. Is there anything else I might want to have before everything arrives. Thanks and great to meet you all.

I have tried many different brands and haven't had any issues yet. I would find one that fits good in the tank and has good reviews.

Congrats on the new tank! Take your time and research as you let your rock cures! You will have plenty of time to learn what you need to know to get started. Check out BRStv investigates on youtube, they have great videos on different aspects of the hobby and can really help with learning new things!

Are you getting live rock or dry? How do you plan to cycle your tank? You'll want a good test kit to test ammonia and nitrate.

Welcome to R2R and. Congrats on the tank. Check out the BRS video and threads on R2R about pairing up smaller heaters for redundancy, get one with a controller if you are able. Also start a build thread, good luck.
