I am replacing my 120gal acrylic tank which I have been running for the last 7 years 5 years as a fish only last 2 years as a reef mostly SPS. I had a crash a few months ago and also got over run with vermatid snails all over my live rock. So I ordered a new glass 120 gal tank which I will start from scratch new everything. I was thinking of going bare bottom but I really like the look of substrate would crushed coral be good to use instead of sand. I have sand in my current tank and the wave pumps just blows the sand up into piles.

thanks

I'm having the same issue with sand. My 120 will have the crushed coral. Make sure u do a build thread, I'd like to see your progress
