Where are you at in Florida? Try to find some members nearby and see about checking out their tanks to ask questions and build up a local support group and find the best recommended local fish stores.

As already mentioned, don’t declorinate tap water to start.

Also, i I would recommend having sand if this is your 1st tank. Bare bottom is considered a bit more difficult to do right.

We don’t want you to get frustrated and give up. We want you to have success and remain in the hobby for many years to come.
