I had just bought a stunning Pink Polka Dot Red Discosoma Mushroom from another vendor at RAP NJ. It was fat and bright red with little prominent pink speckles. It was the only one he had otherwise I would have bought them all. I wanted another one so I googled the mushroom and lo and behold, they were available at Corals Anonymous! The photo on the website looked exactly like the one I got at RAP so I ignored the $299 price tag and went for it. What arrived was a tiny shriveled specimen that was barely hanging on to the rock. I began acclimating him hoping for improvement but he was slowly sliding off his rock. Woke up 2 days after the acclimation process and he was gone, having detached and disappeared. Since their policy is for you to photograph opening the carton and the entire unboxing process for a DOA claim, I was out of luck. Technically the mushroom was alive at the time of unboxing so the 4 hour DOA window was invalid. So now I'm left with an over $300 loss and no mushroom. Stay away from these people. The product and service from World Wide Corals, Tidal Gardens and Top Shelf Aquatics blow these guys away. Lesson learned here.
