Hi all.
Some photos from when I first got my tank set up. To how it is today.
Where we decided to place the tank is a squeeze but it fits perfectly and looks great.
Plenty of photos to go at !!
Originally the tank came with a white mdf front made by somebody else.
We changed that out for the grey Ash effect with some doors and matching pelmet.
I'm happy with the sump configuration at the moment. And the weir set up is working really well for us. And the filter socks are changed / cleaned every 3 days. With plenty of live rock rubble and also some large pieces of LR that I am keeping for future builds.
Lighting
we had a 4 foot LED light that came with the tank, unfortunately the white led modules failed, and are not repairable. So recently we have bought a second hand fluval marine 3.0 which so far for how cheap it was it is far better than the old unit.
flow wise we have 2 powerheads which work really well and then a 3rd new powerhead to get the surface moving.
(I did promise the Mrs that I would make a new TV cabinet to match the tank stand but .... not got round to that yet!!!)
