So realise I haven't been on here for a while but not much to report really. Tank has been ticking along nicely and I added a blue eyed kole tang recently. Other than that not much to report... I did warn you it'd be slowly slowly! In the mean time here's a couple more pics

Decided to get some full tank shots tonight so right on schedule a big pile of my rock work decided to collapse and my powerheads decided to come away from the glass which has meant some time spent putting everything back right. Everything is grumpy now and night lights are on so the full tank shots will have to wait for another day but in the meantime here are a few random ones

That trigger is amazing. Love the tank.
Thanks E.Y. Yeah I'm really happy with him like I say wanted one for a long time and the tank is definitely starting to come together. Need to get some more height on the right hand side of it and definitely need some more colour (both fish and corals) but it's getting there

Quick fts as I've done a pretty major rescape. A coral had been moved over night and when trying to correct it one thing lead to another but I'm pretty happy with the outcome.

So what other fish would people suggest? Current stock list is:

2 x common clowns
3 x yellow tailed damsels
2 x engineer gobies (b******s w*****s)
1 x valentini puffer
1 x blue eyed kole tang
1 x blue throat trigger
1 x snowflake eel.

Plus a cheeky fts from today.

Not much going on here lately. Had a wave maker die and haven't replaced it yet but ironically most things are looking a lot happier despite the lower flow. Have decided I'm destined to not be able to keep candy canes or open brains so going to give up on them and think I will concentrate on hammer, torches, softies etc as seem to have some joy with them. Any way here's a few quick snaps off my phone.

So looking for a bit of advice. My tank has glass lids on it which sit in runners. Problem is these runners are black and they're in the perfect position to block off some of my white light which means the ends of the tank doesn't get as much light as anywhere else. I am cash limited so new/extra lights are a no no. Anyone got any tips or suggestions for how I can improve this? Picture included isn't very good but should give you a rough idea of what I'm on about.
