Few updates this weekend as the wife bought me a flame angel as a belated birthday present a rescape was needed to stop the blue face from battering the poor little bugger. Not the best pics but it's been a busy few days so will try to get some better ones soon.

"275 cube running on natural sea water"
Can you provide some insight on how this is accomplished? Do you run out on a boat and and grab buckets of water or are you close enough to pipe into your tank directly from Ocean/Sea?

Nice aquarium, would be nice to have a tank that size!
Just curious.

Thanks,

Hi truepercs I literally wade out in shorts with a bucket! Not so nice when it's only 2 degrees here in Wales! Then just let the water settle for a couple of days before pouring into tank through some filter floss to sift out any sediment. As for the sump I'll try and get a picture in the next day or so for you but it's a very basic set up.

I pick up about 200 litres a time which sorts me out for a month. Live close to the coast so it's no drama and gives me chance to get away from it all and enjoy what I do a bit

That's interesting. Most of the LFS in South Florida only sell natural sea water (NSW). They don't sell salt water from RODI w/ Salt mix.

Here you go truepercs as I said it's just a basic setup and it's a bit of a mess at the moment. Going to expirement in the next few weeks at using some egg crate to try and create a bit of a refugium in there.
