I am thankful for all you did! His mom was very happy that somebody helped him and sent him a lot of coral. He was very ecstatic when he got them and felt horrible for a while when they died. Samuel talked about you a lot.

Told him to go slow. Pick one easy coral and get good at it. He doesn't take good pics and added stuff to the mix that he didn't tell you about. Like a toadstool coral. For his expertise he needs a dedicated tank not a mixed reef. Probably a mushroom tank. Low flow and light.

We have 2 dogs, he has other tanks, and a gecko. We are taking away his main tank because he has already spent way over 1000$ on it, and we want him to start saving for a car, putting money aside for college. We are not in the right financial situation to be paying for something, and not seeing results.

So in an effort to determine if this is a joke (which I think it is) I found his fencing stats online, assuming I have the correct person. I don’t know anything about fencing but from what little I can gather from his stats he wasn’t doing phenomenal in fencing then started doing poorly. So I’m pretty sure this is the April Fools gag. Unless it’s not and I have no idea what the stats mean.

We do that. I did state he has other tanks, I am actually thinking of just moving it away, give it to our neighbors who keep coral. They have agreed and we are in the process of that.

I am a parent and a grandparent, and won’t tell you how to raise your kids. Your house, your rules. I suggest looking for help at your local pet store if you have one that sells saltwater stuff. However, trying to tear it all down, rehome it, then recoup it all (with no losses) will be difficult and upsetting to the tank inhabitants imo. I suggest an all or nothing approach. Goodluck!
