Sam. Or as people on here know him as, stewy. Is grounded. We recently went to Regionals for his fencing. As sam has told us(us as in his parents)A lot of you know how much we put in for his fencing. From now on, we are taking his tank away and grounding him. He will not be going on here anymore, and we took away his laptop, video games and tanks. The only reason I am here is to ask how to take his tank. I am thinking to sell it. Then with that money, when he is ungrounded on the last day of school, june 20 something, we will buy him a new tank, the same tank, and re-buy the coral.

Honestly, you wont get the money back you have spent. You are looking at a 50% cut or more. And rebuying things, you would have to hope to find a reliable used system. Sure, you can sell it all. But, is it worth destroying a cycled tank . I have no idea how old it is. Saltwater tanks are best aged. Started a reef from fresh is in the hands of extremely experienced people.

As a parent. I would just claim it all and say it's mine! Go away!

At that point, taking the tank away will save many lives. But, I have murdered many too so...
