STL's 180G Build - Going Large with WWC!

Just found your thread, the rock work as the foundation has made for a great looking tank. Then as one that is biased towards softies, LPS and Zoas, I'm a little biased perhaps.

It's been a while since I've posted new photos! First some actinic shots:

Here's my setosa - it's been just about a year since Lou asked "Have you seen the setosa frags?" and started my montipora obsession. It's growing nicely, well encrusted in the rock and really neat growth patterns:

Here's a blue-rim green cap:

And this is a mystic sunset - started as a little frag from WWC and has grown like CRAZY. It's huge and loving my tank:

Here's a sunset monti - this one is newer to the tank and hasn't taken off yet:

Another shot of that mystic sunset:

Ok, now for some daytime photos.

This is the setosa again:

And a neon trumpet:

One of my favorites and relatively new - dendro, thanks to Vic for pointing me at this one:

One of the zoa colonies:

And a newbie alveopora:

Another newbie - northern lights monti:

A Black Friday find - cherry blasto:

Red stylo - relatively new, this guy hasn't taken off yet:

My tux urchin was trolling by, couldn't resist a quick shot:

One of my older corals - green ricordia:

And, lastly, a find from the Space Coast Reef Con, Idaho Grape (growing like CRAZY):

Just came across your thread, STL. Great work, it was fun to catch up. I'll be following along from here on out!

Sure thing, post it up...

By way of a quick update, the Blue Throat Trigger's colors came back a couple months ago - no idea, why... he's looked like she for over a year. But he's looking great now with more color than ever!

I've been battling high nitrates and have tracked it down to detritus accumulating in the refugium. So for anyone with a mystery spike of nitrates, check the refugium.. espeically if you have overgrowth of cheato or such, it can have die off underneath.

Awesome job! Would love to see more!

Great photo update... Keep 'em coming!
