Hey guys.. just spit balling here. Seeing what everyone else thinks. I’m in the cycle phase of my 57 Deep Blue tank and I was wondering what everyone thought of as a FULL TANK fish wise? How many of this and that type of thing if that’s possible. For those of you that haven’t seen my build thread I’ll be running a 34g Skimz sump with a Skimz SK181 Skimmer with a refugium, about 60lbs of rock and 40lbs of sand. I was planning on having atleast a snowflake eel and about 3-4 mid size wrasses.. maybe a smaller tomini tang if possible... any inquiries?? Thanks!! [emoji869]

Really there is not rule for stocking a tank. Nobody here will be able to stop you from doing whatever you feel you want to do. But we can give you advice. With that said is this tank going to be a reef someday. As well as what are the dimensions of this tank and what other filter media besides rock and a refugium will you have. Mike Paletta for instance stocks his tanks very heavily with fish but that is due to his heavy maintenance and nutrient export methods. Also the wrasses depend on what type :)

I would shy away from the tang for me personally I believe if you want to put a tang its not really bout the gallons but about the length. I would say a 4ft long tank is minimum for a happy tang. You may be able to get away with a small one but I personally wouldn't do it. The wrasses sound fine along with the eel. Are you just looking for an algae grazer or like a show fish?
