Favorite fish MISSING

Okay so I know it’s not uncommon for Leapord wrasses to disappear for long periods of time but I just wanted some opinions on my specific scenario

90 gal display. I had just added this Black Leapord Wrasse about 2.5 weeks ago from quarantine. Was in there a few days, swimming around eating fine. I added a snowflake eel about 4 days after. Fed it a shrimp. The next morning wrasse is nowhere to be seen.

I have never seen the Eel go after fish but I know it’s possible. There’s a royal gramma in there too I figured he’d make a quick snack if he really was eating fish. And apparently they have bad eyesight ??

The only other thing I can’t think of that maybe could have eaten the wrasse is a brittle star. Or maybe an urchin but still would have to been on his way out.

What do you guys think? Just hiding to avoid the chaos? Or did he most likely get eaten?

My bets on the eel(sorry) but… Have you checked the sump? I have a melanarus wrasse that recently made it over the weir into the overflow, down the drain pipe, past the filter sock and into the first chamber or my sump. Too me a while to find it down there I was sure it had died. Good Luck
