Just stopping in to say that i am super jealous of your huge duncan colony.. They are my favorites.

On the very tips appear to be the polyps. The white stuff I can't really see on my phone so I'm not sure.

Do they look like a Nudibranch or a Flatworm?

Kinda, they were as small as the polyps but a little longer and white.

Maybe Ghost Flatworms.

Hopefully not, but another possibility is Acropora Eating Nudibranches. I've never had them, but I've had the Monti Eating variety. Not a fun thing to deal with.

THank you! I wish I could say I grew them but it was the colony I believe my LFS was using for frags, it has gotten super happy in my tank and I believe it has over 40 heads on it.

Will have to catch up but pretty sure what I had were barnacles. Weird though as I never saw the "feather" from them despite them multiplying. I do know KCL and interceptor didn't kill them.

These were what came in on a wild acro colony. I’ve had it in QT for over a month and it decided to RTN on me. Pretty sure they are barnacles and this colony was absolutely covered in them

I'm still holding in a bowl on top my tank don't want it to spread to my other across if it is bad. Plan on dipping it soon and maybe keeping it in the bowl for another few days after maybe a week and see what happens?

Also, there was some evidence of what appeared to be tissue necrosis on the pictures you shared. Has that spread on the Acro or did it stop?

It hasn't poked out much in the bowl with no flow. but when I first seen it I thought it was a polyp, but it was to white and little longer. Necrosis about the same I'll upload a pic in a moment.

Plus side alkalinity holding 9.2 bigger green acro has some healthy polyps out and the Duncans are fluffy

It may be isn't anything but I would hate to gamble that and lose my bigger acro over this guy. He did have good polyps coming out but from my understanding that's still possible with pest.

And I don't think these were polyps they looked like either small young spinoid things or a little worm poking out and white on the few I thought didn't look right.

Maybe keep in mind it's in a bowl with no flow but actually looking I think the tissue looks possibly better not as rough
