Hi all,

I am starting to put together our plan for the 150 I am getting and have the following fish and rough plan for addition. Each round would start QT soon after the previous' add. As an additional note, I plan to run a large fuge that is Triton-based, but do not play to try going full Triton until the tank is well-established. Any comments or concerns would be appreciated:

First add:
-2 clowns
-1 Magnificent Foxface

Add 1.5 (2 weeks later)
-CUC (does this need a full QT?)
+2 Cleaner Shrimp
+1 Crab
+1 Blue Texedo Urchin

Second add
-Shrimp Goby
-Tiger Snapping Shrimp
-Cardinal Fish
-Fighting Conch

Third Add
-Zebra Eel
-Naoko Fairy Wrasse
-Red Head Salon Wrasse
-Vrolik's Wrasse

*Add corals around 4-6 month mark

Fourth Add
-Bicolor Blenny
-Midas Blenny
-Scissor Tail Goby

Later add (nearer to a year)
-Sifter goby
-Blue green mandarin
-Emperor Angelfish

i cant think

Here’s what I’d change:
First batch:
Magnificent Foxface
Shrimp Goby + Shrimp
Cardinals
Second batch:
CUC
Cleaner shrimp
Crabs
Urchin
Conch
Clowns
Third batch:
naoko fairy wrasse
Lubbocki fairy wrasse
Radiant/silver belly wrasse
Fourth batch:
Scissor Tail Dartfish
ONE blenny
fith batch (1 year):
Mandarin Dragonet
Zebra Eel (Potentially going to eat the dart fish and shrimp goby)
Final batch (3-5 years on):
Sand sifting goby - I wrote something about why these need 3-5 year old tanks to have optimum health.

Zebra morays ime never touch fish. They are blind and primarily eat crustaceans and urchins

Bicolor blenny OR Midas blenny, not both.

Puffer or flame hawk fish are going to eat some of your CUC.

Gobies tend to be a slower moving fish so if the moray was going to eat a fish it would go for them. I never said it will just that it’s a potential threat.

Zebra morays do not eat fish in nature. Their physiology isn’t geared toward fish they have zero taste for fish it’s not in their dna

I’ve always thought differently. I mean, it’s relatively similar to Angelfish and coral, they aren’t normally going to eat coral but in captivity they can often nip at it. Just figured it’s a possibility but it’s interesting to know it’s not a big threat :)

I’ve never really been into eels so never thought to research them other than the odd thread about an eel with a smaller species of fish
