A hear that Lemonpeel Angels can be mean; maybe look into it. I decided against one in my 150-gallon. And don't Marine Bettas not only get very large, but kind of disappoint people by hiding a lot (and exhibiting basically nocturnal behavior)? Research all your fish pretty extensively before making your final choices, because even a 50 gallon cube can fill up fast. Best wishes!

Clowns first 100%!! List looks good, marine betta is a very shy fish and you wont see much of it other than its tail sticking out. Fyi. I loved mine, I miss him. They do get very large but are slow growers. Needs meaty food put right by where it choses to hide and needs a very dark cave to be happy!

Okay yeah not a good set up at all for the marine betta. They need a ton of rocks and dark caves

My Captive bred marine betta was out a lot once it got bigger. So I would recommend captive if you go with one. It even eventually ate from the food clip with the other fish.

Unfortunately lost it during a tank move.

The size alone had me questioning it. When everything else is 3-4". It really didn't fit in with everything else.
Yeah they are super cool but need the right tank to be set up. Mine was wild caught

One fish used to be everywhere and now hardly ever see one is the blue powder tang. A baby sized one would be perfect for your 50gallon.

I like it. I'd hold off on the captive mandarin until the tank is established. I know they are trained to eat pellets but still, pods need or should be part of their diet.

I have a similar 50g cube, just not red sea.
