I've printed a whole army of rabbits, they keep multiplying. :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: kids requests keep rolling in.

Need to get a nem nest test print done one night.

My daughter kept asking for stuff... finally I was like what do you need all this stuff for.... apparently she was selling it in school...
Careful what we inadvertently teach our kids...

she had a list of orders from other kids.

my equation for cost of print is: (H*.2+F*.022)1.2. where H=hours to print and F=filament used. The 1.2 accounts for a 20% failure rate and I then decide what my margin should be. the lfs gets 3x, 2.5 for larger quantities.

make sure you get paid for the kids sales. teach them business (don't forget the taxes). ;)

edit: petg might get a 40% failure rate. till i stop sucking at it.

I'm trying to decide when to pick up those nems. I want them now but also want to get a nem nest printed.

But I just gouged my plate, switched software and thought I copied all the settings the same and grrrrrrr.... Even manually leveled the bed. Must of missed something....

Oh well knew it would happen, have 2 more on the way from China.

Finally something for me! I test printed a couple random flow generators last night. They came out looking really good. It's hard to see being white, they have raised letters on the side, but otherwise perfectly smooth. I'm going to test these and if all goes well be printing them in PETG soon.

I printed mine with the outflow pointing up and used tree/organic supports on the edge of the outer intake. It's not perfect but definitely good enough.

I may try printing some the other direction, I would need internal support though for the fins. But those came out great this time.

This is a design for a nozzle I'm putting on my page soon. I'm still working on different variations to see which works best. Its a little different from these photos now even...

Cool! That to use just below the surface so it doesn't suck in air as bad? What did you use? Fusion 360?

I have so many rabbits, and cubes, and boats.

I have printed off a nori feeder and a bristle worm trap.

Still learning and tinkering, so I have opted for using this as a test print. Who can't use a few frag stands!!

You got some decent quality on that print! they're tough to print en mass unless you know a few very special slicer commands. ;)
I thin any more then 6 at a time will clog your nazzle :D

Oh I just figured out how to fine tune Klipper, I have a few more tests to do but my gosh, night and day difference!

I'll be printing more of those tomorrow.

How are the nozzles for your Evo? I'm looking to give a little upgrade to mine?

Shows the tissue better in the picture. Has a slight bright fluorescent green under strong UV. Can't wait to see it color up!

I love watching mystery coral grow. I grew a pocillopora colony from a literal polyp I thought was a hydroid.
