My pair of clownfish keeps laying eggs. And they keep choosing my oldest, biggest coral colonies to lay on. They killed my 10 year wall hammer by constantly laying eggs on the skeleton and annoying the wall hammer. Now they are doing it to the base of a softball size gonipora colony. The eggs never fully hatch and they repeat this every two weeks. The eggs go from orange to silverish then are gone. I don't have the time or food to raise the baby clowns so I been just letting them do their thing.....but is there a way to make them stop???

Just let them do what they do. I have a pair that lay eggs every two weeks and at some point after, eat them.

You can't stop them from spawning.

I moved my pair to a tank all to themselves.
