I picked up the 75 w/ stand used for a great price.

I drilled another hole for an additional overflow box in case one clogs. I used modeling clay to make a dam...filled it with water and changed the batteries in my drill like 18times..here is the finished product.

I child-proofed my stand because my cats can open cupboards

38g AGA I will use for my sump.

Google Sketchup model I made for general layout of my sump/refugium.

Google Sketchup model I made for general layout of my canopy that will use 6 HO t5's, 120mm fans to reduce condensation inside the canopy and cool the bulbs to get the most output from them, and still have complete access to the tank.

I picked up my water storage barrel and cut the top off of it yesterday...filled it up w/ freshwater to clean it one additional time. I will be keeping it in the front entrance closet just around the corner from where the tank will be...I will just use a pump for water changes.

it will be a mixed reef. probably a lot of SPS but I have been picking up some nice echino's lately and they have definately peaked my interest. I have some nice ricorida that will move to the 75 as well.

everything except the budget. :hammer:

I just want it to be very low maintenance. Everything must be easy to get to and maintain. It will be run BB w/ the back and bottom painted black. I am thinking about running 6055's on a MultiController but that is still up in there air.

It will be skimmed w/ a Tunze 9010. Everything controlled w/ an AquaControllerIII. Return pump w/ most likely be an OceanRunner3500...cheap and low wattage.

The fuge will just be some cheatomorpha.

My wife wants it to be quiet. I think the fans will be the loudest part.

We are also in a 2nd floor apartment or this build would be much larger.

This has been on hold for a bit since I just got all new snowboarding gear for myself and my wife for this coming season.

I am going to try to get the tank plumbed tomorrow. Here are a few pics of some of the frags that will move from the 14g Biocube into the new tank once it is set up.

Here is a few updates for everyone. I decided I didn't have enough time to handle building a nice canopy so I sold my retro kits and bought a 6bulb TekLight. Skimmer is a Tunze 9010 and flow is from 2 Tunze 6055's. Almost up and running...just added some Reef Crystals tonight. I am going to have to cherry pick most of my rock to get the structure I am looking for so it might be a bit before I get any new updates done.

6055's and Sand has been a little tricky already. We will see how it plays out once I get my rock in there and find a used 7095 controller for cheap. I also want to pick up and AC Jr. or AC3 before putting any spendy livestock in there.

Thanks for the compliments guys.
