Recently got a bella goby for my 40 gallon. I have a blenny and two clowns who have been doing great in the tank and show no signs of stress. The goby acts completely normal throughout the day and is sifting and will eat free floating frozen food. At night it is a completely different story. Constantly showing stressed behavior and swimming along the surface of the water and poking its head out of the water repeatedly. It has been doing this for about a week since I have added them. Any ideas if they will eventually settle down?

Attached are videos from the day and night.

It needs a place to sleep at night, and lacking that it’s trying to get someplace where it feels comfortable to sleep.
I would agree, except there is plenty of caves and places for it to sleep especially in low flow zones. Not sure what environment its looking for then to sleep in.
