Haven't been able to ID these anywhere. Maybe 1mm across on the glass and appear to flap around in the current but aren't moving otherwise

Eggs? What kinda snails do you stock?

It's neither of those. I'm aware of the hydros ans there's no nerite snails in the tank

I'm pretty certain that these are hydroid medusas. If you want to have a closer look check out post #51 on page 3 of my microscopy thread.

There are different hydroid genera and species so there might be small differences. If you get one into a small pipette you will see it looks like a small jellyfish and swim on its own (as long as you didn't damage it while getting it into the pipette)

What i am getting at is that the thread is not about them. It's about the small egg sac looking things all around them and also the only thing in the first picture

Oh sorry, I didn't get that.

The other things look like some eggs though... But I don't know what you have in your tank, so it's hard to figure out what it could be. Many snails are broadcast spawners and don't leave eggs on the glass, so it really depends on whatever might be living in your tank.

Apparently some Nassarius sp. snails have eggs that look like this. Not all seem to be creating these weird pattern of many tiny eggs and instead have some "clusters" that look like one larger egg. You have to remember that Nassarius is a whole genus, so the species can still make a huge difference.
