Its been a week, and no leaks. I'm going to drain and clean the tank. Going to Lowes to pick up some Black paint, and paint the back black. Will post pics when done

Paint is complete. Back of tank and stand. I used Rust-Olium Oil based Black Glossy. The next thing to do is work on Sump.

Triton Refugium Kit got this to create DIY Sump with 29g Aqueon tank will post pics when done.

Got the stand out of the garage and into its new home. Filling 44g can with RODI water. Got my salt and read to mix. Not the prettiest setup, but it will have to work for now.

My first tank was a 72 gallon bow front and I loved it. Wish I still had it honestly. Enjoy the process and cant wait to see it come along.

Looks good! I'm not 100% sure and i hope I'm wrong, but the Triton Sump has the Skimmer after the refugium and the adjustable baffle is to adjust the water height for the skimmer.

It's a basic setup, Im happy with it for my first tank. Im not happy with the money I've spent.. Lol Ill get over it....lol

Im going to start with a couple of clowns. I want a couple Royal Grammies, Coral Beauty, Yellow Tang, and I know I want a Mandarinfish one day. I want a mixed reef, but Im going to start with the easy corals Leather, mushrooms, Zoas.... Just going to take it slow.
