Hi people! I have a strawberry conch along with 2 bl hermits I keep in my 40b. And an army of trochus snails that won't stop breeding! I recently moved my tank and changed the sand, started feeding larger pellets also. I'm noticing my sand could use a little help and am thinking more bl hermits would be the way to go. I'm worried if I put too many in there, or more, they might decide to go after my conch which I don't want! I really really like my conch. Has anyone had any experience keeping these two together? If they got hungry enough, I'm thinking they might turn him into a meal. I'm going shopping for something tomorrow, just trying to get some ideas. Thanks!

My large variety of hermits do not bother either conch in my tank. I don’t think you’ll have any issues.

Add some med n large shells in your tank. Only reason crabs will bother your snails is if there is not enough food or when they outgrow their shell n need a bigger one.
