Hi,
I have a Fluval evo 13.5 gallon and am thinking of getting a strawberry conch once my aquarium is established, is the Fluval evo an ok sized tank for them?

Dude I wouldn’t bother wi the those I’ve heard bad things about them, I’d stick to snails.
I’ve also heard mixed reviews on them, just seeing if anyone had any good experience
I think I will have 1 nassarius 3 trochus and 1 strawberry conch

I will consider it, although I have heard soo many great reviews on trochus snails so I may do a combination of both

Never had an issue with emerald crabs unless they were starved for food.
I would just like to have a crab if some sort, even if it’s a few hermits or an anemone crab. Something that’s compatible with small fish, snails, shrimp and corals

I think something like a porcelain crab would be a better option as long as you can meet it’s requirements.

Forego the emerald and grab a pistol shrimp, pair it up with a nice looking goby and boom!
I am already planning to get a pistol shrimp and a Yasha goby, I was just seeing IF there was a suitable crab, but I think I will get some sexy shrimp instead

I got three sexy shrimp a couple of weeks ago for my 20g waterbox cube. They are really fun to watch and stay small. I have had several emerald crabs over the years. They get bigger than most people think. The ones I had would sometimes fight each other but left everything else alone. I would pass on those in a small tank. I have a high fin goby (because they stay small) and a candy stripe pistol shrimp in my 20g. Tiger pistols can get big I have one in my 55g that is well over 3". Probably 4". I have had him for 3 years. They are fun to watch. I have two neon gobies. They stay fairly small as well.
