Below is a pic of my SSC frag. It is growing like crazy. Is it normal for them to have such long PE? If it smells the least bit of food, this is what it does.
Please excuse the blurriness, but I think you can tell what I'm talking about.

That's normal and shows good health and verifies that it is feeding.

As long as that is indeed PE. Looks almost like its sliming up (upset). Hard to tell.

The pic is kinda blurry was going to ask if its polyps or menstral filaments coming out. If its that its in the process of most likely killing anything around it

That is some extreme PE. Really sweeper tenticles. I would say it is a good thing tho. Nothing to worry about except near by corals.
