Strawberry Shortcake help

[Pennywise the Clown]

3 months ago I bought a Strawberry Shortcake frag from a local reefer who also has a little coral business.
The mother colony is shown below and over the last few months the frag has lost all color.
I had it positioned at the top of my rock work and it has been receiving pretty much as much light as my Hydra 26's can throw at it.
I have a couple more acros in a similar position and they are doing well.
It gets plenty of flow, that is definitely not the issue.
I have now moved onto the sand bed in the hope it was getting too much light.

It is definitely not starving. I am feeding Reefroids twice a week and Reef Energy A+B twice a week.

Could have been light shock? More is not always better! It will probably go dormant and brown for a bit now, just slowly move it back up and light acclimate it some.

I have recently upped the intensity of my Hydras by quite a bit after discovering my previous settings were not giving me anywhere near enough PAR. But I used acclimation mode over a 6 week period and to be honest, it wasn't exactly doing that well before the increase. A lot of my other frags have definitely benefitted from the extra light.
