I put my meter to test and its saying 20v in tank.. unplugged everything and the only 2 plugs throwing volts too the tank are my LED lights!?!?! How is that even possible? Anyone run into this before and can explain..

Also I'm gettin a stn issue.. what can resolve this other than fragging?

I find that using superglue is more effective than fragging. Hard to say stray voltage is the issue, I've been through the STN thing for about two years and finally nailed pH as the issue (too low). I explored stray voltage as well, didn't seem to end up being the cause but it's worth checking into.

Superglue the effected area? I don't understand why I'm getting 20v in the tank with my lights that aren't near the water. Nothing else is putting voltage in the tank. Maybe i should invest in a grounding probe

Yeah I superglue just over the effected area and slightly onto the non effected area as a stop gap measure. This seals up the spreading of necrosis. Fragging leaves behind an open wound that can get infected again.

Yea, not a bad idea, because I coudln't tell you how thats getting into the tank, at all, unless your lights are mounted on something thats attached to the tank at the water, or you have a sump that they are hitting also. Something along those lines.
