Stressed Yellow tang

Hello

For some reason my tang is just pacing from one side of the tank to the other, and against the glass, i got it today and i left it aclimatizing for a couple of minutes before i let it into the tank..what should i do?

Did I read couple of minutes? I hope not.

But this is usual. Mine did that for a day or two. He is just acclimating. Once he is used to your tank he will explore. Make sure to have algae wafers ready. They need to graze. Tie them to a small rock and leave them. Let him figure out the tank, he will be fine.

If you just added it, and you parameters are good and if you feel you acclimated it correctly, then give it time. It's in a brand new environment, acting active or shy is normal once first introduced into a new environment.

Well i had it on a QT tank before i let him in the DT, but when i meant a couple min i meant inside the main tank

Agree. Lights off for a bit will help with stress as well.
