Asking about the tearing of the foot killing the anemone... People used to say these things are hard to keep. When I had a bad RO filter and continued water changes only drove my corals closer to death losing nearly all of my SPS and many of my LPS), my BTA's cloned from 2 to 8 in two days. Their natural response was to split in hopes that soe portion would live through it. Weeds. I think inability to keep something pften results in the thing being unable to be kept;)

Rev,

You must be lucky. My RBTA committed suicide in the power head. I was devastated. I am now crossing my fingers that I will have a case like the guy who found little nems all over his tank. That sounds awsome. Mine was a good 8 in and got chewed to just a few stray tentacles floating on the bottom of the tank. Strangest thing I have ever seen. No milky water, no tank nuke, and well no anemone. If you decide to sell one let me know as I will be looking to replace mine eventually. Good Luck!! I hope they grow to be big and and devide on thier own without the help of your trusty screwdriver.

One of my giants went in a powerhead and still lived . So my wife isn't the only person that doesn't use a screw driver on screws.

Mine just died last week. It never really looked good or came back around and finally withered away after 3 months.
That'll be awesome if all three make it, which they should if it was in good health to start with.
