My Giraffe Serpent Star is stuck in the wall of my overflow. I can see his arms coming out to feed in the intake vents that draw the water from the main tank in. He went in through the top notch where my return pipes are.
Can I get some advice as to how to help him get himself out? I marked on the photo in blue line where I see his arms coming out to feed.
I am attaching photos of my overflow design. Should I just keep looking in the sump for him? I stuck a tube cleaning brush in the hole where thereturn comes him hoping he will find it to grab onto and get back in the tank.

My thought would be that if he got in there, he can get out. Often trying to mess with things like this just makes things worse. I would probably just let him be.
