This is my 60 gallon aquarium now.
IMG_1356.jpg

I have a true perc that Ive had with me for 3 years since my first reef. I also have 2 Mcckosker flasher wrasses.

I would like to add some smaller fish, so that I can add several. I feel like fish make the reef look alive.

-Blenny, I like their personality alot. Ive only had a bicolor, but would like to know what other kinds people like? I'm thinking of a midas or few barnacle blennies.
Can you add more than one blenny?:squigglemouth:

-1 or 2 ORA Blue Mandarins, (I feed Live brineshrimp, copepods, and rotifers everyweek) I want ORA, because I don't like that so many of these starve to death, because of under educated hobbyist, and I feel like ORA does a good job at trying to prevent it, so I want to support

-Gobies, Any suggestions?

-Inverts. I like shrimp, but the seem to like my corals so probably no more shrimp.
I would like a Red Bali Star, I had one once and loved it. Any other star suggestions/

- Other fish suggestions, I know this is vague, but I have found some of my favorite fish through getting suggestions. I like fish with personality and color is always nice, maybe something blue to off set my 3 orange fish.

I personally love my Tail Spot Blenny, he's awesome, and has a great personality. For a 60gal, you could look at some more active wrasses maybe. They would be fine with the McCoskers.

Mandarins are touchy, but can be kept successfully.

I have a pinkspotted goby that has been a nice addition to my tank. The only problem is that if there are any frags on the sandbed, plan on them getting covered with sand as he burrows out his home. If you decide to go for a mandarin, make sure you have a healthy pod population even if you go with one from ORA. Most people have said that they will eventually go feral when pods are available and then almost "forget" how to eat prepared foods once they wipe out all of your pods. Do you have a refugium set up as a safe haven for your pods?

I culture pods, rotifers, and brine shrimp. So I add about 300-500 pods, plus thousands of rotifers, and brine shrimp per week. I have a refugium(with several misbehaving peppermint shrimp), but I need to remove my filter on my pump so that the pods can get sucked up. I doubt it should be a problem. My only concern is the wrasses out competing the mandarin for food.

I have also heard that they can revert back, but figure since ORA are tank raised they should do bettter.

depends on that size of fish. how much filtration you run and so on. typically your tank will tell you.

You could add more wrasses for sure. My fish are in a temporary 40B right now while I wait for my new display to get here. In it, I have:

Bluejaw Trigger
Premium Picasso Clownfish Pair
Tailspot Blenny
2 Green Chromis
Red Tail Flasher Wrasse
Filamented Flasher Wrasse
Rhomboid Fairy Wrasse
Flame Wrasse - Female
Labouti Fairy Wrasse

If thats the case then just make sure that the mandarin takes to prepared foods too and you would be good to go!! I also second the midas blenny but i would probably stick to just one blenny.

After hanging out at LFS stores all day in Kansas City, because I had to travel there to drop off my wife at the airport, I ended up with a Potters Wrasse. He is beautiful. I know people have had problems with them not eating, but I watched him eat at the LFS before I bought him. I will post pics tomorrow after he is acclimated. I looked for a tailspot blenny all day today and never found one.

Pics of Potters wrasse I bought yesterday, so far only tasting the frozen mysis and spitting it out, but hopefully he'll learn to like it. I may try and get some frozen krill or articpods.

These are the best pics I have been able to get with my phone. I think my wife took the camera with her, when i dropped her off at the airport yesterday.
