I am struggling with what to do with one section of my new Aquascape. This will be going into a 250 gallon 6' x 3' x 2' peninsula. It is an upgrade from my current 150. It will be getting about half it's rock from my current tank. I can't decide what to do with the side nearest the overflow.

This will be the side furthest from the wall.

This will be the middle section. I like the idea of a canyon. it will be less straight on the right side to give it a more natural look and the height will be more varied.

This is where I'm stuck. Any suggestions? Do I just slope it down from the wall a little in a couple spots? Make another shorter ledge and make a bridge to the wall? Leave it empty?

Here is an overhead shot to give a little more idea about the position of everything.

i believe its fine how it is. especially if you're adding rock from other tank. the only spaces i see where you can add rock is to connect one structure to the next like a bridge/arch.

Oh I forgot to mention. The majority of the dry rock there is going into the sump/refugium. What I currently have is going to get moved into the new display.

I think what I may do it just add one shorter pile on the overflow side like what is there in the pic and connect it as kind of an arch/bridge to the wall in one or two spots.
