I'm getting an addition done to my house and need a few suggestions on what to get... I simply can't wrap my mind around it. The tanks will be in wall with a fish room behind it.
1. One 10 foot long x 4 feet wide x 3 feet tall fowlr and my current 6x2x30" reef right next to it.
2. Two identical 7x4x3 side by side, one fowlr and one reef.
3. One 6x3x3 reef and a 10x3x3 fowlr.
4. One 7x4x3 fowlr and a 7x3x3 reef
Also...
Should I tie in the reef and fowlr to the same sump or have them independent. I'm not an sps fan and I was planning on having a very large sump with a ton of rock and nutrient export. If I don't use my current six foot tank in the design, I'm going to use it as part of the sump.
I know four foot wide tanks will be tricky, more so for the reef, but I can create some pretty awesome aqua scapes with that room. Also, all tanks with be bare bottom.
Suggestions and thoughts??
