can someone tell me a great place to order a reef tank from that doesn't charge out the rear for shipping and or free shipping?

Are you on the east coast or west coast?

There are a couple of private vendors in CA. I got a rimless low-iron starphire rimless tank (1/2 thick) with laminated white stand, 40 gallon sump for $800 with delivery

I don't know what size tank you are looking for, but you can check at BRS. Supposedly, shipping on tanks is included in the price.

I wanted a long short one.. the one I ordered that didn't turn out was 72x18x17 and I would even like 16 inches tall.. I want rimless but according to price

Might check with Glass Cages. They are custom builders in Tennessee, somewhere around Nashville (according to their area code). Looks like they may be less than a couple hundred miles from you. Might even be able to go pick it up. The recommendation is by location only. I have never owned one of their tanks.

OH SNAP! Haha

Oops. I said distance... :)

I know you were trying to help... I appreciate it
Obviously, I didn't see the other thread until now. Sorry about that and hate that you had such a crappy experience with them. I hope they at least refund your money.

I got my current 50G from R&J Enterprises for around $700. Acrylic with the sump in the back/comes with stand made for the tank. No center brace and double doors in the front of the stand. I ordered through Petco (yeah I know) but the system is great and the company's customer service can't be beat. If you're looking for a "four" foot tank this on is a great deal.

R&J is in Jacksonville, FL and has been the best company I've been in touch with.

If you are looking for Acrylic then I can suggest few...

Thank you guys for all your help..
