Suicidal hermit crab

LOL funny thread!

That's funny...especially the "He looked comfortable" part. I guess you'll get to see how smart he is...that dive to the carpet may be enough to keep him in the tank now that he knows what's outside.

Maybe he's like those high divers that jump off cliffs in Mexico.

Put a trampoline on the floor and maybe he'll bounce right back into the water.

superglue fishing line to his shell, then superglue the other end to a rock.. it's like a leash..

poor little bugger just wants to be free.. he wants to go back to the ocean..

Then he plays the shell swap game and gets out again anyway XD

UPDATE
I've been keeping an eye on him lately and his favorite spot to hang out is right out of the water but he hasn't climbed completely out again

I push him back in and ten minutes later he is back in the upper corner. It's weird cause it's always this corner.

Not sure if this means anything but....my hermit seems to be eating the sealant on my tank, and I see you have excess right where your hermit is.

You can see where my hermit ate the seal.

Maybe he's trying to get at the algae under it...?

Try spot-feeding him a little bit and see what he does.
