Hey guys,

I’m thinking about building a sump with just a single baffle or maybe 2. Does anybody know what I could use for a simple baffle instead of acrylic or glass. I don’t really feel like spending too much money if I don’t have to. Thanks!

Acrylic from lowes is cheap.

depends on what you want the baffle for. In my case, I needed one to control skimmer section height, but my sump is a rubbermaid tub. My solution was to use a bucket for the skimmer section, cut to the max expected depth, and some standpipes to fine tune / drop depth.
not pretty, but if saving $ is a priority, this was simple and cheap.
